It's now 9 a.m. according to 3 Commissioner Precinct 4 and the Kerr County 4 Commissioners' Court is in session. We're privileged 5 today to have the Mayor of the City of Kerrville who's 6 going to lead us in the prayer, and then Mr. Letz in the 7 Pledge of Allegiance, okay? Please proceed. 8 (Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.) 9 JUDGE POLLARD: The next part of the agenda, 10 is public the public gets a chance to come forward and 11 talk on some subject that is not on the agenda and has 12 to be on something that is not a the agenda. If it's 13 something on the agenda you wait until I call that item 14 and then you talk then. But if you have something you'd 15 like to talk about not on the agenda this is your time 16 to come forward. If so, step forward to the podium, 17 identify yourself by name and address and please limit 18 your comments to three minutes, if possible. Is there 19 anyone? I guess I scared them off with all those 20 requirements. 21 All right, there being no one, let's go to 22 the next part, which is the Commissioners and County 23 Judge may use this time to recognize achievements of 24 persons in their Precinct and to make comments. We'll 25 start off with the illustrious Commissioner Precinct 1. 7 1 COMMISSIONER BELEW: We had really good 2 Memorial Day celebration here at courthouse, missed you. 3 And thanks for all that came, and I think that our 4 Veterans Service Officer did a very good job of making 5 it work properly. So it was good. 6 JUDGE POLLARD: Sounds good. Heard lots of 7 good reports about it, also heard it was pretty hot. A 8 lot of people hunting the shade. 9 Okay, I don't have anything. 10 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Ditto that comment, it 11 was a very nice event, well attended I thought. 12 And another comment we go to the Tivy Antler 13 Baseball team doing an outstanding job. They're in the 14 regional finals this week. First game will be on 15 Thursday, I believe, in San Antonio against Corpus 16 Christi Veterans Memorial. Good luck to them. And even 17 though it's up the road a bit good luck to 18 Fredericksburg, the Billies are at the same level in the 19 playoffs, Regional Finals, and they're playing this 20 week, not sure where. But pretty remarkable for two 21 schools right next to be this far along in the playoffs. 22 JUDGE POLLARD: I understand that the team 23 that Tivy's playing beat Boerne this past week. 24 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Yes. No problem. 25 JUDGE POLLARD: Boerne and Tivy have split 8 1 each one and one during the season, so it's probably 2 going to be a heck of a game. On the radio this morning 3 I heard that it was going to be in San Antonio, but they 4 haven't determined which stadium yet. I want to go to 5 that. It's going to be a good -- heck of a game. 6 All right, anything Mr. Reeves? 7 COMMISSIONER REEVES: I'll see your two 8 regional championship games with a State Championship 9 from the girls golf team at Ingram Tom Moore High School 10 this past week, so very proud of the West Kerr County. 11 On a somber note for everybody here, I'll be 12 leaving early. We lost a long-time West Kerr County 13 family member this week Jerry Henderson. She and her 14 husband Shakey ran the Bundy Ross Ranch out on the end 15 of the County for years and years, so I'll be leaving a 16 little early today. HASTINGS: Thank you. 25 JUDGE POLLARD: -- and Kelly Hoffer. 12 1 MR. HASTINGS: Kelly and I have been working 2 on some plans and specs for having several roads 3 reconstructed as part of the budget. Last year y'all 4 approved a line item amount for road reconstruction that 5 would be above and beyond what our crews do, and we'd 6 like to advertise for that starting tomorrow over the 7 next two weeks. We have a pre-bid conference, and the 8 bid will be due on June 22nd at 3 p.m., that's a Friday, 9 that would be opened and awarded that following Monday 10 at 9:30 a.m. on June 25th, 2018. 11 County Engineer requests the Court to 12 authorize the County Clerk to advertise for bids for the 13 2018 Road Reconstruction Project. And it's road in 14 Precincts 1, 2, 3, and 4, all precincts. And it's about 15 four miles of road. 16 COMMISSIONER REEVES: What roads are we 17 talking about? 18 MS. HOFFER: You got Indian Creek in 19 Precinct 4. Rim Rock -- these are sections of the road. 20 Rim Rock Road in Precinct 1, Hermann Sons Road in 21 Precinct 3, Upper Turtle Creek in Precinct 1, and Elm 22 Pass in Precinct 3. We may not have 2 in here. I'm not 23 sure. 24 COMMISSIONER BELEW: I thought this all 25 started because of a road in Precinct 3. 13 1 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Wasn't this road a part 2 of the road originally? 3 MS. HOFFER: Yeah. They just went through 4 and -- 5 MR. HASTINGS: Skyview. 6 MS. HOFFER: -- Skyview really is the one 7 that started it, and because of the East Kerr County 8 project, and that's coming in about two years we hate to 9 have a road totally reconstructed only to be opened back 10 up and torn up, so that one's going to have to wait 11 until later on, be about three years. 12 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Move for approval of the 13 agenda item. 14 COMMISSIONER BELEW: Second. 15 JUDGE POLLARD: It's been moved by 16 Commissioner Precinct 3, seconded by Commissioner 17 Precinct 1 to approve agenda item 1.5, and that is to 18 authorize the County Clerk to advertise for bids for the 19 2018 Road Reconstruction Project. This is an odd looking plat. 3 When was this thing done? 4 COMMISSIONER REEVES: It's Volume 2. 5 MR. DON VOELKEL: Don Voelkel. It was done, 6 I think, in the 60's or 70's. It's a very old plat. 7 And they divided it up into subdivisions, like 8 Subdivision 1, 2, 3 for different heirs, and this one 9 apparently had other heirs and they divided it into lots 10 12 through 26 or 27, and then they started selling off. 11 Like my client only owns the parts of 24 and 25 that are 12 between the road and the river. So each of them has an 13 old house and septic and well, they're going to abandon 14 all that and tear everything out, plug the wells, put in 15 a new septic and a new house and a new well. That's 16 what their plan is. 17 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Okay. 18 COMMISSIONER REEVES: Similar to some of the 19 other ones like out 479 where family partitioned land, 20 they went ahead and filed a plat, did they not, Mr. 21 Voelkel? 22 MR. DON VOELKEL: I don't know that the ones 23 on 479 -- 24 COMMISSIONER REEVES: Well, like Oehler 25 and -- 17 1 MR. DON VOELKEL: The Oehler Estate did, 2 they filed it -- 3 COMMISSIONER REEVES: And Winnecke's have 4 done some of that. So they filed them for record and 5 now because it's filed for record is why we're having to 6 revise the plat, right? 7 MR. DON VOELKEL: Yes. 8 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Okay. It's only 9:16. 22 JUDGE POLLARD: Item will 1.12 consider, 23 discuss and take appropriate action to complete the 24 engineering services procurement information for the 25 Kerr County Flood Warning System grant contingent upon 18 1 award. It doesn't say it's a timed item on that. 2 COMMISSIONER REEVES: No, Sir. The other 3 items are timed, Your Honor. 4 JUDGE POLLARD: Okay. All right, I 5 understand. All right, go ahead. 6 MR. HASTINGS: Thank you. This item is to 7 ratify some decisions that need to be made in order for 8 GrantWorks to advertise for the engineering procurement, 9 and those things were following committee being named, 10 Commissioner Moser, Commissioner Letz, the Auditor, 11 Brenda Doss, and the County Engineer, Charlie Hastings 12 to be the committee that reviews these RFQ's, then they 13 submit them, and then also the list of engineers this 14 got sent to several of these are labeled as either 15 HUB's, which is a historically underutilized business, 16 or a disadvantaged enterprise, and so we've got John 17 Mercer, a Jones Carter, Klein Engineering, LNV, Tetra 18 Tech, Hewitt Engineering, Urban Design Group, Civiltech 19 Engineering, P & D Professional Services, and B2Z 20 Engineering. Those are the firms that all received a 21 packet and several of those are either DBE's or HUB's 22 that it's part of the process you have to submit so many 23 to those, and GrantWorks has done that. We'd like for 24 the Court to ratify that list of engineers that received 25 the RFQ's, as well as the committee that I mentioned. 19 1 COMMISSIONER LETZ: I move for approval to 2 ratify -- 3 MRS. GRINSTEAD: Wait. Sorry. 4 COMMISSIONER LETZ: -- the list of 5 engineers, I guess the application including the list 6 and the -- 7 MRS. GRINSTEAD: Sorry. We also need to -- 8 there's an evaluation criteria you need to approve. 9 Pretty much everything in that packet needs to be 10 approved. But they needed the list of engineers and the 11 committee last week, so that part you're ratifying, but 12 the rest of it needs to be approved. 13 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Ratify the list of 14 engineers that are read into the record, and the scoring 15 committee, and the -- what are the other parts? 16 MRS. GRINSTEAD: There's 4 or 5 pages in 17 there. And scoring evaluation criteria. 18 COMMISSIONER LETZ: That's just the two 19 things we ratify that were submitted, and the other 20 things we need to submit or approve -- 21 MR. HASTINGS: Is the scoring criteria. 22 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Scoring criteria. 23 MRS. GRINSTEAD: Yeah. There's three or 24 four pages. I don't have them in front of me. 25 MR. There's just some of the little 8 detailed parts of it, but I think that no matter which 9 one we selected we would need to sit down and visit with 10 them. They met the RFP, and this one truly did a great 11 job in meeting it and explaining everything, and setting 12 everything out in there. We're already at a level where there were going 16 to be some extra expenses based on what they provide 17 right now, and where we're already at given the -- 18 SHERIFF HIERHOLZER: Well, each one of the 19 vendors, some had that cap that they put a dollar figure 20 on for covering up to a certain amount, okay? And then 21 after that the County. Some had that they covered 22 things already totally such as x-rays or tuberculosis 23 testing or hepatitis testing for our employees and that, 24 hepatitis vaccine. And some had that the electronic 25 medical records were an extra, okay, an add-on. So by 32 1 the time you look at them, yes, there were different 2 prices in them, but by the time you looked at them all 3 for going to 24 hour coverage then I think that the 4 committee agreed that this one was the closest at this 5 point, and now we still, like I said, I want to 6 negotiate. I'm not going to say it's perfect, but I 7 think it's definitely the closest to where we need to be 8 at this point. You have to remember what this is mainly 9 covering is prescription drugs, 24 hour medical care, 10 RN, doctor, psychiatric, dental, and the other health 11 stuff that we're required to have, and it's mainly their 12 staff and their liability insurance, and their doctors 13 that we're contracting with. The actual off-site 14 medical bills the County still has to pay, that's 15 separate. 16 JUDGE POLLARD: Are there ever any inmates 17 that have their own health insurance coverage -- 18 SHERIFF HIERHOLZER: Yes. Yes. 19 JUDGE POLLARD: -- that is primary first? 20 SHERIFF HIERHOLZER: Yes. 21 JUDGE POLLARD: These people pick up if they 22 don't have any. 23 SHERIFF HIERHOLZER: Well, we pick up if 24 they don't have any, you know, the County does; not this 25 company, not any company we do. Indigent health, you 33 1 know, if they qualify for we try and do that, but if 2 they don't by law, you know, the county's responsible 3 for the medical. We can try and sue the inmates to get 4 it back, but it's just a very large expenditure 5 squeezing blood out of a turnip. 6 JUDGE POLLARD: Okay, Sheriff, just make -- 7 would you mind making a brief comment, we're going into 8 budget now, and we've had some discussions about what 9 you're anticipating about an inmate health care, whether 10 it affects the budget. It doesn't affect this item, but 11 it's appropriate, I'd like to hear your comments. 12 SHERIFF HIERHOLZER: Back to the budget on 13 inmate health care you can probably expect an increase 14 of around $300,000.00 a year. 15 JUDGE POLLARD: Okay, any questions? One, there is a Dell 16 Inspiron -- well, anyway, laptop computer that was not 17 ever -- is not on the inventory list, is that correct? 18 Was it ever located? 19 MRS. DOSS: Yes. Yes, we located it, but it 20 wasn't on their listing. It was a very old computer 21 that had been -- it wasn't connected to the network, and 22 it had been around for many many years. We have some 23 problems with really really old assets. Some of -- we 24 have some that are on the list that we don't have 25 anymore, and we also have some assets that aren't on the 51 1 list, and this is mostly really old stuff that we're 2 trying to sort through. 3 JUDGE POLLARD: Do we really need to keep 4 that stuff, or do we need to dispose of them or what? 5 MRS. DOSS: Well, this is a computer that 6 they do use. It just wasn't connected to the network. 7 And then there were a few other things. Sometimes IT 8 will take a part computers and they'll combine them into 9 one. And then we don't -- and they may have the same 10 number or a combination of numbers, so that's kind of a 11 problem. But they're working to correct that. 12 And then number 4 also the IT equipment is 13 disposed of without Commissioners' Court approval. They 14 haven't been bringing it to -- a list of what they're 15 disposing of to Court to get it surplused or salvaged. 16 But that also will be corrected. 17 JUDGE POLLARD: So they're going to have to 18 come on a future agenda item for the Commissioners' 19 Court to authorize that? 20 MRS. The Auditor's Office spent I think over a 7 year, at various times over a year researching, tracking 8 down, looking for nearly every piece of IT equipment, 9 and it's a huge list. And they did a really good 10 thorough job of the audit, I thought. And I'd like to 11 compliment my Bruce Motheral who does just a yeoman's 12 work at keeping track of all the equipment that we 13 receive, and that we have to handle, and then we've also 14 taken initiative, and I think the next thing is that the 15 Sheriff's office we've got a huge amount of equipment 16 there, and we've gone through, we've done a once over, 17 and we'll spend some more time on the equipment that's 18 at the Sheriff's office. But the Auditor's office James 19 spent just a lot of time reviewing and tracking down all 20 the equipment in excruciating detail, did really good 21 work. 22 JUDGE POLLARD: You just joined a big group 23 of people that really appreciate our Auditor. Our 11 Maintenance, Sarah and Greg did a fantastic job setting 12 up and helping clean up, they were wonderful. And of 13 course Commissioner Belew, our MC, did a great job as 14 usual. What I have now is 20 I'd like to ask our Commissioners' Court -- I'd like to 21 ask their help in presenting a Proclamation to our Kerr 22 County Women's veterans. Sorry, I'm so tired. As a way 23 of honoring them for Women Veterans Day. This 24 Proclamation was first signed into law by President 25 Harry S. Truman for the Women's Armed Services 54 1 Integration Act of June 12, 1948. I would like to have 2 an official presentation of this Proclamation June 12, 3 2018 on the steps of our Kerr County War Memorial 4 Monument, and ask that our Kerr County Judge and 5 Commissioners do the official Proclamation. 6 Today there are officially 548 women 7 veterans in Kerr County, and over 177,507 women veterans 8 in the United States. We would like to recognize our 9 women veterans from all eras who have proudly and 10 valiantly served our nation. 11 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Do we have a copy of a 12 template for that Resolution? 13 MS. CONSTANTINIDES: The Appraisal District 15 wishes to cancel the MOU, and have control over our own 16 computers again, and be on our own. 17 COMMISSIONER REEVES: And you feel this 18 would be in y'all's best interest? 19 MS. STEBBINS: You can just accept that 25 termination. 59 1 COMMISSIONER REEVES: And if the KCAD feels 2 that it's in the best interest of operations of their 3 department, I'm not going to dispute that at all. TROLINGER: Thank you. I estimate it'll 21 be less than 20 thousand dollars. I got an estimate and 22 breakdown, and I discussed the issue extensively with 23 the Auditor, and she agrees that we should simply amend 24 the existing Kerr County Budget, and if other projects 25 become a problem later in the year that we'll have to, 60 1 you know, have -- money will have to come from somewhere 2 else. But at this point to replace the Central 3 Appraisal District servers, and the services and the -- 4 where the equipment's going to be located will be just 5 under 20 thousand dollars, I estimate, this year's cost. 6 I'd like to add that the servers, the 7 existing shared servers are very old, and at end of 8 life, and in need of replacement anyway. This is not 9 something we're just saying we've gotta replace the 10 servers because the MOU's been broken up, but the 11 servers do need to be replaced, and eventually the 12 Central Appraisal District will need to do the same. 13 So I'm asking for a budget amendment to 14 assist in IT capital. 15 COMMISIONER LETZ: I'm lost as to what we're 16 doing. I mean the combination of these two agenda 17 items -- 18 COMMISSIONER BELEW: This is upgrading to 19 what's happening in the Tax Assessor's Office, and 20 separating out the systems so that -- 21 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Separate everything, 22 separate systems -- 23 COMMISSIONER BELEW: So that the Assessor's 24 Office can talk to KCAD -- 25 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Directly. 61 1 COMMISSIONER BELEW: -- directly. And sort 2 of porting off everything. 3 MR. TROLINGER: That's a very good summary. 4 MS. DIANE BOLIN: Where is my data going to 5 be? 6 MR. TROLINGER: At the Ingram Data Center. 7 The servers will be here at the courthouse initially, 8 and then the Ingram Data Center that shares rack space. 9 That's one of the line items, it says Rack Space Ingram 10 Data Center. They'll be physically -- 11 COMMISSIONER BELEW: Diane will have access 12 at all times to all of her data? 13 MR. TROLINGER: Yes. 14 COMMISSIONER REEVES: At all times? 15 MR. TROLINGER: Yes. 16 COMMISSIONER REEVES: And the Ingram Data 17 Center, I'm assuming, is Hill County Telephone Coop? 18 MR. TROLINGER: It is. 19 COMMISSIONER BELEW: Okay. 20 COMMISSIONER REEVES: Will this meet your 21 needs, Mrs. Bolin? 22 MRS. BOLIN: Well, I'd like to know what the 23 TA Support Services is. 24 MR. TROLINGER: True automation support. 25 They'll charge us from moving the data bases from the 62 1 shared servers to the new servers once they're online. 2 It the cost -- when we had the disaster in January and 3 had to reload the servers, reload our disaster recovery 4 equipment, that was the cost that they charged us then, 5 so I used that as an estimate. 6 COMMISSIONER LETZ: John, can you give us -- 7 explain the acronyms you have, DP, APP and -- 8 MR. TROLINGER: It's just the name of the 9 servers, the data base server, the application server, 10 the web server, they're physical pieces of hardware that 11 we have to purchase. 12 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Okay. 13 MR. TROLINGER: The old ones are obsolete. 14 I can't remember how old they are. Do you know, Sharon? 15 MS. CONSTANTINIDES: These are about five 16 years old. 17 MR. TROLINGER: Five years old, and that's 18 when we look to replace the servers. Support will 19 eventually say they're too old and we can't support 20 them. 21 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Okay. 22 COMMISSIONER REEVES: So as far as budget 23 amendments, would we handle that at our regular meeting 24 on the 1st? 25 MRS. GRINSTEAD: Yes. 63 1 MRS. DOSS: Yes. Yes, we can do that. I 2 think what we'll plan to do is utilize the IT budget 3 first, and if need be, depending on what we need then, 4 by the end of the year, then we could use the 5 contingency, or do a transfer from another department 6 that has additional funds. 7 COMMISSIONER REEVES: Okay, so for now we're 8 going to use IT funds -- 9 MRS. DOSS: Yes. 10 COMMISSIONER REEVES: So really we don't 11 need to do anything. 12 MRS. DOSS: No. We'll do a line item 13 transfer on the Thursday budget amendments if we need 14 to. 15 MS. DIANE BOLIN: I have one other question. 16 You drew me kind of an outline, is that what's going to 17 happen in my office? 18 COMMISSIONER BELEW: Yes. What -- for the 19 benefit of everybody else is just that you'll have a 20 system with KCAD, kind of like what you have with the 21 State. You'll be able to change monitors at the work 22 stations, and all of your employees will be able to go 23 to a different server, different monitor for that, and 24 just like with the State. The only difference would be 25 that John will maintain our end of that here, and that's 64 1 the only difference -- I mean not the only difference. 2 It's the closest comparison I can make. The State 3 system is completely self contained, they send their own 4 people out. In this situation Sharon would have her 5 people on that end fix everything, access it whenever. 6 On this end it will be John fixing it, or the IT 7 Department, I should say. 8 MS. DIANE BOLIN: Okay. I have one 9 question. It's kind of a -- probably going to be weird 10 to y'all. We do a lot of PDF statements and a lot of 11 PDF receipts where we email them to them. How does that 12 work on this type of system? Are we going to have to 13 start printing them out, scanning them and then PDFing 14 them, emailing them? 15 COMMISSIONER BELEW: That's just data 16 transfers. 17 MR. TROLINGER: Those are just technical 18 issues we'll work out. Is it a big like a show stopping 19 concern that you have? 20 MS. DIANE BOLIN: It's something we do every 21 day, and I do many many times during the day during tax 22 season, that's why I'm concerned about that. We've tried 23 to save paper by doing the PDF's, so I don't know how 24 this all works with that. 25 COMMISSIONER BELEW: I don't see why you 65 1 can't -- why you should not be able to that. 2 MR. TROLINGER: I don't think the tax office 3 users will notice, will see any difference to the 4 procedures that they use right now when they do their 5 work with the true automation system or the financial 6 system from CIC, Computer Information Concepts. I don't 7 think you'll see any change. 8 COMMISSIONER REEVES: So you are saying they 9 can put it to a PDF and send them? 10 MR. TROLINGER: I'm not sure about the 11 details about what Diane's asking, but I intend it to be 12 the same as it is now except we won't have shared 13 servers where data bases are on the same server as the 14 Central Appraisal, we'll have our own -- 15 COMMISSIONER BELEW: Share information but 16 you'll have different servers. 17 MR. TROLINGER: And the information sharing 18 will take place via files through transfer via email 19 very likely back and forth between Central Appraisal 20 and -- but otherwise there's no change to actual 21 process of processing taxes or taking care of customers 22 when you're on the phone, or receiving. 23 MS. DIANE BOLIN: That part I understand. 24 COMMISSIONER REEVES: Commissioner Belew, 25 can you help walk through that understanding what the 66 1 tax office needs? 2 COMMISSIONER BELEW: Well, I -- you know, 3 sending PDF files, everybody sends those. I don't 4 understand why you'd have to scan something or -- are 5 you talking about scanning something, Diane, or you 6 talking about downloading? 7 MS. DIANE BOLIN: No. I'm talking about 8 when we'll actually do a receipt, when we pull it up we 9 have the option to put it to a PDF creator, or PDF 10 printer so it states it on the computer and just attach 11 it as a file to the email, but my understanding how this 12 is going to work where are we going to attach it, where 13 are we going to put the PDF files so that they can flip 14 the button or go to the other computer and still have 15 access to that information if it's a whole separate unit 16 type of thing? 17 COMMISSIONER BELEW: I don't know. That's a 18 good question. You oughta be able to take a file and 19 transfer it to wherever you want, and reference it. 20 MS. DIANE BOLIN: I know on the State system 21 you cannot do that. We could load it on to a PDF, or 22 save it to a PDF, but when we hit that toggle switch we 23 don't have access to that any longer. 24 COMMISSIONER BELEW: You might have to do 25 that with this system. 67 1 MS. DIANE BOLIN: Pardon. 2 COMMISSIONER BELEW: You might have to do 3 that with this system. The whole point of this is that 4 Sharon has her vendors have access to her computers. 5 MS. DIANE BOLIN: Right. They're totally 6 out of this process. 7 COMMISSIONER BELEW: Right. Well, this is 8 why we have this issue, because they want people to be 9 able to access their computers at KCAD. We have to be 10 able to talk back and forth to them and share 11 information, but it could possibly make the rest of the 12 County vulnerable to hacking and what not, so the best 13 answer to that is not a firewall, but a completely 14 different system, not cost prohibitive, so that's why we 15 decided to do what John's talking about. As far as 16 where you take a file, where you put it, if you put it 17 on a thumb drive each time, whatever you have to do each 18 time, I don't know. I mean it can always be figured 19 out. 20 MR. TROLINGER: I think once we get -- if 21 the shared servers are approved, if the budget 22 amendment's approved, and it's okayed, once we have the 23 servers, the data on our own system, we really don't 24 need to make Diane jump through a bunch of hoops like 25 that, and of course we can discuss it in a separate 68 1 meeting with y'all to hack out the technical details. 2 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Why don't y'all -- that 3 would probably help because I mean maybe between now and 4 Thursday when we do the budget amendments y'all can talk 5 a little bit, if you have nothing else to do. 6 COMMISSIONER REEVES: And before we approve 7 the budget amendment make sure there's enough money in 8 this where the tax office can continue to operate in the 9 same general manner that they're doing now as far as -- 10 I don't see why there would be a problem, why you 11 couldn't do it, and I don't understand why you won't 12 just come out and say there's not a problem. 13 MR. TROLINGER: It's not -- it's not a 14 problem. I was trying to address the Tax Assessor's 15 concerns. 16 COMMISSIONER REEVES: Hopefully by the time 17 we do the budget amendment you can meet with them -- 18 COMMISSIONER LETZ: And figure out. 19 MR. TROLINGER: And I'd like to say by 20 having the servers set up here and on our network, I 21 think Diane will have a lot less work to get the 22 software updates, and she's having herself personally to 23 go to each computer. I think she'll see much 24 improvement over the past trouble that we've had with 25 that, by having the servers be remote versus here on our 69 1 local computer network on our side of the firewall. I 2 hope it'll improve things, the system will be faster, 3 and things will be smoother, that's my goal, that's what 4 I want to do. On Court Order 36737 it currently 25 reads approve to waive revision of plat oversight and 71 1 approval for lots 19, 20, and 21 of Spyglass Hill. It 2 needs to be clear, this should say approve to waive 3 County Subdivision Rules and Regulations regarding 4 revision of plat oversight, and approval for lots 19, 5 20, 21 of Spyglass Hill. 6 And then the other one -- 7 JUDGE POLLARD: Are you proposing that 8 correction before the order is signed or what? 9 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Yes. And then the other 10 correction is on Court Order 36750 currently reads 11 approve Change No. 4 for Kendnel Kasper Construction for 12 216th District Attorney's Office, and it should say 13 approve Change Order No. 4, and the word "order" was 14 deleted or left off, and we should add that back into 15 that one because that's actually a Change Order.
