My watch says 2 it's time. It's August 29, 2018, it's 9 a.m., the Kerr 3 County Commissioners' Court is in session. This is a 4 pay the bills thanks to our Texas Attorney General. 5 We get right to it, item 1.1 pay the bills. 6 MRS. DOSS: Yes. You have packets that were 7 presented to you. The first packet is for Kerr County 8 and the total is $59,060.57. Then there are also 9 packets for separate governing boards. Airport is 10 $464.42. Adult probation $658.90. And a grant fund 11 which is the TDA grant part of the East Kerr/Center 12 Point project $41,895.00. 13 COMMISSIONER LETZ: I move we pay the bills 14 and approve the Treasurer's disbursements. 15 COMMISSIONER REEVES: Second. 16 JUDGE POLLARD: Been moved by Commissioner 17 Precinct 3, and seconded by Commissioner Precinct 4 to 18 pay the bills as presented and as well as the 19 Treasurer's disbursement which is set forth in the 20 agenda package, all pursuant to item 1.1 of the agenda 21 today. Is there any further comment or discussion? 22 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Quick question. Why are 23 the bills so low? This is the smallest packet I've ever 24 seen. 25 MRS. DOSS: Because Joy was on vacation, so 4 1 she asked people only to turn in exactly what was 2 necessary. 3 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Keep her on vacation. 4 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Yeah, we saved a bunch 5 of money this week. 6 MRS. DOSS: But that means next week is 7 going to be huge. 8 JUDGE POLLARD: All right, is there any 9 further discussion? If not, those in favor of the 10 motion signify by raising your right hand. It's three 11 zero, unanimous. 12 Let the record reflect Commissioner Precinct 13 1 is absent today so far. 14 Item 1.2 budget amendments. 15 MRS. DOSS: Yes. There are six budget 16 amendments. The first one is having to do with the 17 SAVNS Grant. This was just approved in the last couple 18 of court sessions that we're recording it as new 19 revenue, and the expenditures that go with it. Number 2 20 is for the capital outlay item in the Tax Assessor's to 21 increase it by 35 hundred dollars. That was approved in 22 the last court session. Number 3 is Maintenance is 23 moving some items around. Number 4 is having to do with 24 the law library and the District Clerk amending budget. 25 Number 5 is a payroll contingency group insurance 5 1 adjustment. And number 6 is having to do with Constable 2 Number 1. 3 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Move that we amend the 4 budget as delineated by the Auditor. 5 COMMISSIONER REEVES: Second. 6 JUDGE POLLARD: Been moved by Commissioner 7 Precinct 2, seconded by Commissioner Precinct 4 pursuant 8 to item 1.2 of the agenda today being the budget 9 amendments submitted in the agenda package, and 10 recommended by the County Auditor to approve those 11 budget amendments. Is there any further comment or 12 discussion? If not, those in favor signify by raising 13 their right hand. It's three zero, unanimous. One 14 abstention, myself. 15 Item 1.3 late bills? 16 MRS. DOSS: No late bills. 17 JUDGE POLLARD: No late bills. 18 1.4 approve payroll? 19 MRS.
