It's 9 a.m. and the Kerr 3 County Commissioners' Court is in session. And we're 4 here today thanks to our illustrious Attorney General. 5 We thank him very much. But we don't have the Auditor 6 here yet. Is somebody going to speak for her on any of 7 this stuff? Could you ask her, please? 8 (Pause.) 9 MRS. GRINSTEAD: Walking in the door right 10 now. 11 COMMISSIONER MOSER: There she is, yaaah. 12 She'll do anything for attention. 13 MRS. DOSS: I'm sorry. 14 JUDGE POLLARD: Okay, the first item on the 15 agenda is 1.1 pay the bills. Yes, Ma'am. 16 MRS. DOSS: Hold on a second, I'm getting to 17 the right page. Okay, total Kerr County bills is 18 $1,045,170.70. And then we also have three packets for 19 approval of the Treasurer's disbursement. Adult -- or 20 four packets. Adult probation for FY 17-18 $3,572.93. 21 Adult probation for FY 18-19 $17,893.95. Juvenile 22 probation $783.31. And the 198th Forfeiture Account 23 $132.33. 24 COMMISSIONER REEVES: The adult probation 25 FY 18-19, I assume they're on a different fiscal year? 4 1 MRS. DOSS: Yes, their fiscal year ended 2 8-31. 3 COMMISSIONER REEVES: All right. Make a 4 motion to approve the bills, and Treasurer's 5 disbursements as outlined by the Auditor. 6 JUDGE POLLARD: Is there a second? 7 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Second. 8 JUDGE POLLARD: Been moved by Commissioner 9 Precinct 4, seconded by Commissioner Precinct 3 to pay 10 the bills as submitted by the County Treasurer, and as 11 submitted by the County Auditor, all in the agenda 12 package under item 1.1 of the today's agenda. Is there 13 any further question or comment? There being none, 14 those in favor of the motion signify by raising your 15 right hand. It's three zero, a unanimous vote. 16 Let the record reflect that Commissioner 17 Precinct 1 is not here; everybody else is here. 18 All right, let's go to item 1.2 budget 19 amendments. 20 MRS. DOSS: Yes, there's ten budget 21 amendments. These are kind of typical year end. We are 22 doing departmental line item transfers. Number 9 is in 23 the Road and Bridge special projects. They will have an 24 agenda item on the next court meeting to get approval of 25 increasing the contract by a small amount. And this is 5 1 in anticipation of that. 2 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Move to approve the 3 recommended budget amendments adjustments. 4 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Second. 5 JUDGE POLLARD: Been moved by Commissioner 6 Precinct 2, seconded by Commissioner Precinct 3 to 7 approve the budget amendments as submitted the in the 8 agenda package by the County Auditor. Are there any 9 further questions or comments? 10 COMMISSIONER REEVES: Yes. 216th District 11 Attorney capital outlay. Is this to cover what we 12 approved on Monday? 13 MRS. DOSS: Part of it, yes. What I asked 14 them, I said you know we have to get everything paid by 15 the end of the year, so I asked them to go back and make 16 sure that we had enough in the budget to cover what was 17 left that they still owed for the architect also, and 18 for Guardian Securities. And this was the budget 19 adjustment they made to cover everything, so this should 20 close everything out. 21 COMMISSIONER REEVES: But we're taking money 22 out of -- 23 MRS. DOSS: They had some money left over in 24 other line items in their budget, yes, to cover it. 25 COMMISSIONER REEVES: Right. But it was 6 1 over and above what we had anticipated we needed to 2 spend on that project? 3 MRS. DOSS: Yes. There were some extra 4 security, they paid Guardian Security for cameras out 5 there, and also for the entrance key locks and other 6 items, and plus they had change orders that they've had 7 approval. 8 COMMISSIONER REEVES: Thank you. 9 JUDGE POLLARD: Any further questions? If 10 not, those in favor of the motion signify by raising 11 their right hand. It's three zero, unanimous. One 12 abstention, myself. 13 The next item is 1.3 late bills? 14 MRS. DOSS: No late bills. 15 JUDGE POLLARD: No late bills. 16 1.4 approval payroll? 17 MRS.
