It's about 9:01 a.m. Kerr 3 County Commissioners' Court is in session. This is a 4 special pay session thanks to our Texas Attorney 5 General. 6 We'll get right to it so we can move quickly 7 through this docket. Item 1.1 pay the bills. 8 MRS. DOSS: Yes. You have your bill packet. 9 The first packet is for Kerr County fiscal year 17-18, 10 and the total for that is -- sorry, I lost my place. 11 $100,089.81. There's also a packet for Fund 32, which 12 is one of the grant funds for $39,105.00. And then 13 there's a packet for fiscal year 18-19, and the total is 14 $557,945.39. 15 JUDGE POLLARD: Okay, any questions? 16 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Move we pay the bills. 17 COMMISSIONER BELEW: I second. 18 JUDGE POLLARD: Been moved by Commissioner 19 Precinct 2, seconded by Commissioner Precinct 1 to pay 20 the bills as presented in the agenda package, and 21 authorize the County Treasurer to make the payments. 22 Any further comments or discussions or -- 23 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Why are we doing this 24 on Thursday? Because the Attorney General -- 25 COMMISSIONER BELEW: He's baiting you, 4 1 Judge. 2 COMMISSIONER MOSER: I'm baiting you for the 3 Attorney General comments. 4 JUDGE POLLARD: I already commented on it. 5 COMMISSIONER MOSER: I was reading the 6 bills, dadgummit. 7 JUDGE POLLARD: I already commented about 8 that. That's in the opening statement. 9 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Sorry about that. 10 JUDGE POLLARD: Yeah, no problem. I did 11 abbreviate it -- 12 COMMISSIONER MOSER: I thought it was worth 13 repeating. 14 COMMISSIONER BELEW: It went so fast this 15 time he missed it. 16 JUDGE POLLARD: Okay. Thanks to our 17 illustrious Attorney General who has ruled that the way 18 we've been doing it for the past almost two hundred 19 years is not available to us anymore, and we have to 20 approve every one of them individually each time, and so 21 we're here doing that. Now four extra Commissioners' 22 Court meetings a month because of that. Thank you, Mr. 23 Attorney General. Is that sufficient, Commissioner 24 Moser? 25 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Yeah. One other 5 1 question, is he up for election? 2 JUDGE POLLARD: I hope so. 3 COMMISSIONER BELEW: Yes, he is. 4 JUDGE POLLARD: All right. Let's get to 5 item number 2 on the agenda 1 point -- 6 COMMISSIONER REEVES: We haven't voted. We 7 got a motion and a second. 8 JUDGE POLLARD: Okay. Those in favor of the 9 motion signify by raising their right hand. It's three 10 zero, unanimous. One abstention, myself. 11 1.2 budget amendments. 12 MRS. DOSS: No budget amendments. 13 JUDGE POLLARD: 1.3 late bills? 14 MRS. DOSS: Yes. We have quite a few late 15 bills. These are all grant related because the Texas 16 Water Development Board approved disbursement of quite a 17 few outlay requests, and that total is -- these are all 18 for FY 17-18. That total is $3,121,111.98. 19 JUDGE POLLARD: I'm looking at the first 20 page and the third item, it says Kerrville Publi, 21 P-U-B-L-I -- 22 MRS. DOSS: KPUB. They provide electrical 23 service to the Lift Station. 24 JUDGE POLLARD: Okay. Is there a motion? 25 COMMISSIONER REEVES: I make a motion to 6 1 approve the late bills as presented by the Auditor, and 2 they were for fiscal year 17-18, is that correct? 3 MRS. DOSS: Yes, Sir. 4 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Second. 5 JUDGE POLLARD: Been moved by Commissioner 6 Precinct 4, seconded by Commissioner Precinct 2 to pay 7 the late bills, all which are 16-17 -- 8 MRS. DOSS: 17-18. 9 JUDGE POLLARD: -- 17-18 budget year items. 10 And is there any further question or comment? If not, 11 those in favor of the motion signify by raising your 12 right hands.
