It's Thursday, May the 30th, 2019 at 3 about 9 o'clock in the morning, and this is our bill pay 4 agenda. 5 Item 1.1 on the agenda is to pay the bills. 6 MRS. JOHNSON: Good morning. 7 JUDGE KELLY: Yes, Ma'am. 8 MRS. JOHNSON: For Kerr County $90,575.47. 9 Other funds for the Treasurer to disburse Adult 10 Probation $3,846.13. The Airport $9,077.79. Juvenile 11 Probation $11,294.11. We have Fund 95, which is the 12 198th DA Forfeiture Account $132.02. 13 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Make a motion we pay the 14 bills. 15 COMMISSIONER HARRIS: Second. 16 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Second. Go ahead. 17 JUDGE KELLY: Okay, it's been moved by 18 Commissioner Letz, and seconded by Commissioner Harris 19 to pay the bills. All those in favor raise your hand. 20 Bills are paid. Unanimous, four zero. 21 Budget amendments? 22 MRS. JOHNSON: We have one for Animal 23 Control. Taking money from Vet Services and putting 24 them into coyote bounty. 25 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Move for approval. 4 1 COMMISSIONER HARRIS: Second. 2 JUDGE KELLY: Motion's been made by 3 Commissioner Letz, seconded by Commissioner Harris to 4 approve the budget amendment. My only question is, are 5 you okay with this? 6 MR. ROBLES: Is who okay with it? 7 JUDGE KELLY: Marty. 8 COMMISSIONER MOSER: This is vet services. 9 MR. ROBLES: This is Reagan's. 10 JUDGE KELLY: Oh, that's the vet. 11 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Veterinarian; not 12 veteran. 13 JUDGE KELLY: Okay, those in favor raise 14 your hand. Unanimous, four zero. 15 Late bills? 16 MRS. JOHNSON: There are none. 17 JUDGE KELLY: Payroll? 18 MRS. JOHNSON: Yes. Payroll is $608,219.11. 19 And the reason why it's so high is the TCDRS paid once 20 per month. 21 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Move for approval for 22 payroll. 23 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Second. 24 JUDGE KELLY: Okay, it's been moved by 25 Commissioner Moser, seconded by Commissioner Letz to 5 1 approve the payroll. Any discussion? Those in favor 2 raise your hand. Unanimous, four zero. 3 Court orders. 4 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Yeah, we do have. We 5 have court orders from the May 28th meeting. They all 6 look fine, but I will make a comment. This is because 7 of a -- for Commissioner Moser's benefit, that there is 8 a court order related to the Dog Park. We voted on 9 that, and because I saw the e-mail you sent Karen. And 10 we approved three signs, which that's not what I 11 remember doing. But anyway, we approved the three signs 12 for the Dog Park and Flat Rock Park to be developed and 13 created and manufactured by Kerr County Department for 14 the purpose of notifying public that dogs are at play, 15 and a cost not to exceed 300. So it probably best to 16 maybe revisit this at our next meeting and we may 17 rescind this and modify it. 18 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Yeah. I think what 19 we've done is the gentleman made the suggestion one 20 sign. I was down there a couple times since then, and 21 makes a lot of sense. One sign right there on the 22 left-hand side as you cross the bridge, put the proper 23 worded sign there, and it does it all, and for a hundred 24 and 50 bucks. 25 COMMISSIONER LETZ: Right. Anyway, you may 6 1 want to revisit that. 2 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Sure, okay. Good deal. 3 JUDGE KELLY: You know who Hoot Gibson is, 4 right? That's Judge Pollard's best friend. They're 5 long long time friends. 6 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Well, let's reconsider 7 then. 8 COMMISSIONER LETZ: I make a motion to 9 approve the court orders, they all look fine. 10 COMMISSIONER MOSER: Second. 11 JUDGE KELLY: Motion by Commissioner Letz, 12 seconded by Commissioner Moser to approve the court 13 orders as presented.
