            1               JUDGE KELLY:  Court will come to order.  It

            2   is Tuesday, January the 30th at 8:30 in the morning and

            3   the Kerr County Commissioners' Court is now in session

            4   for a special meeting.  And we have a consideration

            5   agenda on item 1.1, which is to consider, discuss and

            6   take appropriate action regarding the scope of work and

            7   related detail for hiring a Human Resources Consultant.

            8               We need to go into executive session, or we

            9   good in open session?

           10               COMMISSIONER LETZ:  I don't know.  I have a

           11   question for the County Attorney that I really need to

           12   ask her.  Not in open session.

           13               JUDGE KELLY:  Let's take about a 90 second,

           14   minute and a half, recess and allow this consultation to

           15   take place.

           16               (Recess.)

           17               COMMISSIONER LETZ:  The answer is yes.

           18               JUDGE KELLY:  Executive session?

           19               COMMISSIONER LETZ:  Yes.

           20               JUDGE KELLY:  Okay.  Then the Court will

           21   come back to order.  It is 8:32 and we are now going

           22   into executive session.

           23               (Executive Session.)

           24               JUDGE KELLY:  Okay.  It is 8:52 and we're

           25   back in open session.  And the agenda item is 1.1, which

            1   is consider, discuss and take appropriate action

            2   regarding the scope of work and related detail for

            3   hiring a Human Resources Consultant.

            4               COMMISSIONER LETZ:  Nothing at this time.

            5               COMMISSIONER HARRIS:  You say what?

            6               COMMISSIONER LETZ:  I think just wait, it'll

            7   be back on our agenda on the 12th regarding the

            8   consultant, and any part-time employment that HR --

            9   Sylvia wants to hire is within her discretion.

           10               JUDGE KELLY:  Good.  It's authorized.

           11               COMMISSIONER LETZ:  Uh-huh.

           12               JUDGE KELLY:  Very well.  Then we'll move on

           13   to 2.1 pay bills.

           14               COMMISSIONER LETZ:  Make a motion to pay the

           15   bills as presented.

           16               JUDGE KELLY:  She hasn't said a word yet.

           17               MRS. SHELTON:  Don't have to.

           18               COMMISSIONER LETZ:  I already read them.  I

           19   already went through and looked at them.

           20               COMMISSIONER HARRIS:  I guess you want a

           21   second.  Second.

           22               JUDGE KELLY:  Motion and a second to approve

           23   the bills as presented in writing.  Those in favor say

           24   aye.  Opposed?  Unanimous.  Anything else?  We are

           25   adjourned.
