            1               JUDGE KELLY:  So the Court will come to

            2   order.  I'm not going to bang the gavel because we're

            3   all just sitting here.  It is Monday, May the 20th,

            4   2024, 9 o'clock in the morning.  Kerr County

            5   Commissioners' Court is now in session.

            6               And we will immediately adjourn to go into

            7   executive session to consider the job interviews for the

            8   IT and the HR position.  So with that, we're in

            9   executive session.

           10               (Executive Session.)

           11               JUDGE KELLY:  We're coming back on the

           12   record.  It's 4:29 and we're coming out of executive

           13   session, and the next item on the agenda is any action

           14   to be taken as a result of our discussions.

           15               COMMISSIONER LETZ:  I make a motion to offer

           16   the HR Director position to Sylvia Zapata at a salary of

           17   75 thousand annually.

           18               COMMISSIONER PACES:  Second.

           19               JUDGE KELLY:  Got a motion and a second.

           20   Any discussion?  Unanimous?

           21               COMMISSIONER PACES:  Don't we have to vote?

           22               JUDGE KELLY:  Those in favor say aye.

           23   Unanimous.  Okay.

           24               COMMISSIONER LETZ:  I guess a comment on the

           25   other position, IT Director.  We have some additional

            1   interviews and discussions to make on that, and no

            2   decision will be made today.

            3               COMMISSIONER PACES:  But good candidates we

            4   heard from, and pleased with the progress.

            5               COMMISSIONER LETZ:  Okay.

            6               JUDGE KELLY:  Okay.  So with that, we are

            7   adjourned.
