Discovery - Art. 39.14 Texas Criminal Code of Procedure |

Discovery can be requested in writing via:
- E-mail (Electronic Mail – call to obtain the contact email)
- Fax (830-792-2228)
- USPS (Mail to: Kerr County Attorney, Attn: Erica Hughes, 700 Main St., Ste. BA-103, Kerrville, TX 78028)
Requests for discovery should include at a minimum:
- Person’s Name
- Criminal Charge
- Date of Offense
- Cause Number if applicable, i.e. "CR######" - if unfiled, state "Unfiled"
If Audio/Video/Photos are available in a particular case, as advised by the
County Attorney’s Office, copies can be obtained by supplying a blank CD or DVD.
NOTES TO REQUESTORS:
- If you receive discovery via email, the number of CD's or DVD's needed
for audio/video/photos will be stated near the end of the email.
- It is our policy that requests be processed in less than 7 working days.
- It is our policy that requests for Audio/Video/Photos be processed in less
than 7 working days from the date that a recordable disc is received.
- To have a disc mailed to a requestor via USPS, you must first call our office
to find out if we require a CD or a DVD (and how many of each). You must then
mail us the required discs and INCLUDE A SELF-ADDRESSED AND STAMPED RETURN ENVELOPE.
