Kerr County "Community
Events Calendar" and "Community Links" Page Policy

The Kerr County Community Events Calendar is provided
as a community service to Kerr County residents and community
organizations. Any community oriented event is acceptable for
posting to the Kerr County Community Events Calendar so
long as it follows the guidelines listed below:
Request for the posting to the Community web page may
be sponsored by any County Official. The Commissioners’ Court
Coordinator is responsible for handing all posting requests. The
Commissioners’ Court may review any request and retains the
right to deny request or remove posting
1. Is sponsored by Department Head / Elected Official or through
the Commissioners’ Court Coordinator.
2. All postings must clearly
indicate the start and ending date of the event, sponsoring
organization, contact name,
telephone number(s), and address. This information will be
validated prior to any posting.
3. All requests
must use the
Community Event / Web Link Form
or the information cannot be processed.
4. Event
requests should be submitted at least 15 days in advance.
5. Events will
be updated and cleared for the page every 30 days or upon the
ending date of the event.
6. Users must
abide by Kerr County policies.
7. Kerr County
reserves the right to select postings to be displayed. The
Commissioners’ Court may review any
request and retains the right to deny request or remove posting.
"Community
Links"
The "Kerr County Community Links" is provided as a
community service to Kerr County residents and community
organizations. If an entry includes a link to a web site that
does not end in @co.kerr.tx.us, Kerr County does not endorse nor
verify the information included within the link. Kerr County
urges caution when accessing any unfamiliar web site. Community
oriented links are acceptable for posting to the The Kerr County
Community Links so long as it follows the guidelines outlined:
1. Links to
personal, professional, or community sites that are for the
Community.
2. Links to
resources that do not charge reading fees and are not malicious
in nature.
Style Guidelines
1. "Events" and
"Links" messages should be kept brief and be relevant using the
"Community Events and Links"
fact sheet. Incomplete facts sheets will not be considered for
posting.
2. Any
attachments, logos, graphics, or photos will be submitted electroniclly.
3. Web links
can be included in the fact sheet.
