The Kerr County Historical Commission seeks members with an interest in historic preservation and an understanding of local history and resources. We look for members who broadly reflect the age, ethnic and geographic diversity of the county.We have three categories of membership: EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE - 2009 Sue Dyke– Interim Chair APPOINTED MEMBERS Appointed Members are appointed by the County Commissioners’ Court and serve two year terms beginning in January. They have voting privileges and attendance requirements. Appointed Members during 2009 and their committee chairman position, if applicable, are:
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS Associate Membership is available to individuals or representatives of cooperating organizations in Kerr County working to achieve the goals of Kerr County Historical Commission by advising the membership and serving on committees.
EMERITUS MEMBERSHIP The KCHC created the category “Member Emeritus in 2009. This honorary membership may be accorded to an active member who has served at least three terms, but can no longer be active because of age, health, or demands of occupation.
